"Underneath the Stars" £10 (+P&P) *Underneath*the*Stars* is a two act play, with each act lasting approximately one hour, penned by Cathy Westby of Credo Arts Community. It is based upon the Biblical story of Ruth - a tale of ordinary people in extraordinary circumstances - a tale of love, tragedy, friendship and faith - real people, real lives. *Underneath*the*Stars* was first performed in January 2006, with the twelfth and final Credo performance in February 2008. Over the last ten years, Credo has worked with churches and communities both nationally and locally in Hull and East Yorkshire. During this time we have often been asked about our drama sketches - where do they come from? are they available for use by other groups?
For this reason we have put together some of our dramas for use in churches. Many of the pieces were written for our work with There is Hope on the Intermission events - evangelistic presentations in a city centre pub and others have been used to set scene or explore issues within services or presentations, so we hope they will be of use to a wide range of people.
The Up Front booklet is available at a price of £10 (+ £2.50 p&p) and is a photocopiable resource to allow it to be of as much practical use as possible.
